It was never meant to be you.
You were my everything.
Why?
Why?
Why did you do that?
Was I not good enough?
Did I not carve myself out for all of your dazzling remarks about me?
What about me was not appealing to your expectations?
Did I just not pour enough of me into you?
I put my heart into this,
And you.
You decided to stab my heart,
And the blood…what a sight!
It’s hard to put into words of what you did.
Why did I let you do that?
You have a heart
Hearts are so precious to the eye
For they help us see unlike the optics
No matter how much you try to keep pieces of my heart
You are stubborn and love to take, take and take.
Oh, and I know you love to be fake, fake and fake.
What a catch!
Do you realize what you have just done?
You didn’t let go.
And now you pay the price!
It was all intentional in your mind.
Yet, again, the heart seeks to see when the mind does not.
It seems…you were not thinking properly.
Oh, but I was.
And how awful it felt, yet awfully satisfying!
At last!
Freedom!
The true cries and the weeping of irony have come to play!
And I have been liberated from this saving grace.
Because I’d be damned if it were the other way around.
